These are very sweet pole beans. Even if you don't like beans these are G-O-O-D. This week they are Selma heirloom beans. Speckeled and we have probably decided not to bother with any other variety of pole bean ever again, because we like this one so much. Sweet.

These tomatoes are a miracle of nature. Never seen it before. They may be smaller than usual and they won't win a beauty contest but they are almost seed free and no liquid: pure solid meat. These are not tasteless paste tomatoes, but midseason flavor tomatoes such as Fantastic, Celebrity, Goliath, and Talladega. I rate the flavor A as compared to the supermarket pretty boys D.

Sweet basil with a fennel/anise undertone. Perfect for Asian dishes and curries! Beautiful in flower arrangements with it's purple flowers. Always store basil in a vase with water like you would flowers. Putting basil in the fridge causes leaves to turn black.

Fresh Shiitake are the best ever. We like them sauteed crispy and added to salad or anything! They also make an awesome vegan bourguignon. A half pound will give you about two cups sliced mushrooms. I will have a better idea how many will be ready on Thursday. Please check back on Tuesday if we are sold out.
