Turkey Hill Farm is 89 acres of varied ecosystems supporting a dynamically diverse farming operation. We produce lettuces, greens, celery, carrots, broccoli, turmeric and ginger root during the winter months and specialize in Heirloom Tomatoes in early summer. We also grow Shiitake mushrooms, satsumas, grapes, pears, figs, and wild blueberries. Part of our mission is education and we enjoy supporting local school and community garden projects and giving farm tours to school classes. We have a Tomato Feastival every June, the Sunday Before Father's Day. Turkey Hill is a founding farm of the Red Hills Small Farm Alliance. the lemon ginger pie recipe link - http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/Gingered-Lemon-Meringue-Pie-1583 Sweet Pickled Onion and Watermelon Radish Salad Makes 4 cups   1 large Watermelon radish, sliced into thin rounds 1 small white onion, sliced into thin rounds 1/3 cup orange juice 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil 1/2 tsp sea salt 1/2 tsp pepper 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar splash of rice wine vinegar (optional – adds an extra layer of tart-sweetness)   Directions: 1.
