Q. Do you have organic products?
A. Yes. Twin Cities Local Food (TCLF) focuses on local and sustainably produced food. We offer a variety of products from local farms that are using sustainable agricultural practices and are making efforts to improve our local food system.  Some of our producers are Certified Organic. 

Q. How do I learn about a farm and its practices?
A. You can view a farms profile under the
Meet Your Farmer tab. Each farmer describes their farm and practices.             

Q. Where are your customer pick-up locations?
A. Tuesdays: Brooklyn Center, Oakdale, Vadnais Heights, and Wayzata.  Thursdays: Savage, Eden Prairie, Plymouth, Eagan, South Minneapolis & St Paul. 

Q. Do you sell raw milk?
A. No. 

Q. Is Twin Cities Local Food a CSA?

A. No. We bring together several different farms with their products on one convenient website. Customers are able to choose the items they want. There is no minimum purchase required. Order pages are open Friday morning to Wednesday morning. Items purchased during this time are picked up that Thursday afternoon at one of our pick-up locations.

Q.  How do I see your prices?

A.  Our prices are listed with the products when the order pages are open.  If you do not see prices, then you need to change your pick up day or location.  Note that Wednesdays after 9 a.m. none of the locations have open order pages.

 Q.  When are your order pages open and why do they close?

A.  We open our order pages Thursdays 6 a.m. through Mondays 9 a.m. for customer pick-ups on Tuesdays.  We open the order pages Fridays 6 a.m. through Wednesdays 9 a.m. for customer pick-ups on Thursdays.  The pages are open weekly May through November and biweekly December through April.  We close the order pages for particular pick-up locations at the end of their order period so that farmers and producers have time to harvest and prepare customer orders.  This time also allows them to inventory and/or assess the availability of produce and products for the next order period.

Q.  How often do I need to order products?

A.  You can order as often as you like.  You select a pick-up location, and you can make orders for that location anytime it's order pages are open.  You can have multiple orders in a week, or order once a month.  Order when it fits your schedule to pick-up your products.

 Q.  It looks like my pick-up location is no longer available.  What happened to it?

A.  When the order pages for a location are closed, the location does not show as an option for ordering.  You can select a different location for that order period, or wait until the order pages open for your location.  The order pages for any location are closed for a longer period during the winter schedule as we do biweekly deliveries December through April.
